Biography: Well, i ain't got much to say. I started playing online in the time of the old BBS with games that were basically just ASCII with a 300 baud modem. Like many people, I upgraded to all the newest standard of modem going from 300 baud to today's fast cable modem. My first online 3D shooter was Counter-Strike about 5 years ago. That's when I got hooked and started playing whenever I had free time. The game was pretty choppy at 56K, so I only played late at night when the NET was less clocked and my ping was around 200, but man did I go nuts when I moved to cable modem. I joined a clan named TaCops and played on all the important matches because I was considered a valuable player who would be present when it mattered. But the good times ended when more and more shitty players got cheats and hacks to play CS, so I quit CS and my clan and actually cancelled my high speed internet connection for about a year because i was so pissed of all the cheating
. Surfing the internet on 56K isn't the fastest thing on earth, but it served my purpose until I started seeing more and more people playing BF1942, so I finally decided to get a high speed connection again and look at some games I might want to play online ( and downloading porn ain't bad either ). I happened to find a review of ET and decided to download the free game and been GAGA on it ever since.Why I Should Be a Member: I have no idead why, I just want to.
