What Else? -- Application for Membershipnessosity
Name:
PenumbraDuFromage
Age:
34
Location:
CT
How I Found Out About Lang:
Random chance shit luck... Seriously.. The ping was good too often to not play here, and then the skills of the players kept me coming back. I hate getting my a$$ kicked, but It's worse to pwn knowing your skills aren't improving by slating a bunch of useless n00bs.
Likes:
Music, hot girls in tight t-shirts, sarcasm, bloody mutilations in full effect, learning, hot sauce, improving, dissecting american societal values, programming, modeling, scripting, procedural anarchy, and fnords.
Dislikes:
Bad music (read: pop), ugly girls in tight t-shirts, intolerance, Bush, Cheney, Rumsfeld, Rice, Rove, Pearle, Wolfowitz, That cashier that looks like she's about to cry of boredom and then wishes you a nice day, incomplete code, broken builds, people too full of themselves to have a good time.
Biography:
I'm a long time gamer, both player and writer. I've written a few games for publication in the early 90's, and am now just winding down a failed attempt to start a new gaming company. I've been programming for 20 years, and playing games for 30 -- I've experience in nearly all aspects of 3D gaming.
Why I Should Be a Member:
I was hoping the Langs needed some help in Pitch Black, which is really why I am applying. I've been playing with all of you guy for nearly a year now, and figured that I can help a little in return. I'm available for kids birthday parties, fairs, and parades.

Hola Penumbra, I was wondering when you'd drop by!

Hey Penumbra! Good to see you're applying for Lang membership!
Lang is more like a community than a competitive clan.
We try to have as much fun as possible but at the same time
maintaining professional gameplay *cough*
As I'm sure you're totally aware of since you've been around you know. See ya on the battlefield.

Yeah! I can't wait for the PB-Killer AimBot you guys have been working on for the past few months! I really dig how it spoofs the PB source-route replies and delivers a UDP packet straight to the ethernet MAC layer.... Very clever.Lepinski.Lang wrote:Pen, awesome to see you apply!
Best of luck. Perhaps you'll soon know the secrets that lie within the members area...
