Before I started playing exclusively on the Feast (which was about 2 months ago), I'd just fire ET up, and browse through the servers. I always searched based on:

- ~20 players
- No custom maps
- No shrub mod
- Good ping (<100)
- Full 6map rotation

NeedleFeast always came up near the top, but the name always freaked me out. I always thought about either:
(a) heavy hard drug use;
(b) eating needles

Neither of which appealed to me...

So, yeah... that's it.

I've gotta admit that I wondered about the server name as well. Drug use, etc came to mind. Then I thought more as a med (favorite class if you didn't know! 8) ) and figured it had more to do with that.

i remember when i was first told about needlefeast. the first picture that popped into my mind was a dark crack alley with a large crowd of junkies gorging themselves with syringes while huddling around a fire in a trash can. /runon

the name (as well as image) stuck and through classical conditioning elicted a response of elation.
