Applying for Membership X3!!!

#1 Post by Spike Spiegel » Thu Dec 07, 2006 6:40 am

I'm back baby.

I've come to the realization that the internet sucks without the Langstas on my side.

Name: Mark
Age: 18 (19 in march w00t)
Location: Dryden

How I Found Out About Lang: a couple years ago I stumbled into NFS

Which Games You Play: CS:S, WoW

Likes: I like cheese and porkchop sandwiches

Dislikes: I dislike peanut butter jelly sandwiches, and people who don't shower regularily.

Biography: I'm a guy, I do things, girls mostly.

Why I Should Be a Member: I'm awesome.

I'd like to point out that you went MIA on us without any mention that you were leaving, and I removed you due to inactivity.

This is a consideration for former members who want to come back. Members who state they would like to leave, or they tell us they are going inactive will find it much easier to return into the fold.

I don't like seeing people go, but at least when they communicate to us why, it makes it easier to deal with. And in this situation, easier to decide to let you back.

My co-worker is from Dryden. Spike, did you ever go watch the Dryden choir perform about 8 years ago? You might have seen her...

Well 8 years ago I was 10, but I don't recall ever watching a choir. What's her name? Chances are I know someone who knows her.

I understand completely where you're coming from, I never intended to go MIA... but stuff happens in real life that sometimes takes precedence over the internet.

I am sorry for giving no notice at all and just disapearing again, but even if I don't become a member I'll still gonna hang out on the forums and hopefully get gaming again with you guys.

Comments: Well here I am in the Nation's Capital and loving engineering at Carleton!!! I'm involved in a lot of the same things here as I was in DHS. Still in Cheerleading, CSES: Carleton Student Engineering Society (student council), and an engineering team GNCTR: Great Northern Concrete Tobaggon Race. Which is exactly what it sounds like!!! Frosh Week I got named the first female "SuperFrosh" of Carleton Engineering, so I proudly where the purple superman cape to all engineering functions!! I got a great kickstart into technology and getting excited for the future from Dear Old Dryden High - thanks to the support of great teachers like Mr. Markowski, Mr. Tinkess, and Mr. Sourtzis - thank you for believing in me!! Hope to do DHS proud!
