I know that someone's brother, a college graduate, delivers pizza for a living.

However, he majored in philosophy

. Still though, many people don't have jobs right now and refuse to get one as such, and its better than nothing.

that was a bit of sarcasm. I can get along with those that I disagree with. otherwise I wouldnt be here. The question is 'can people in lang get along with me even though they hate my political and economic stance"?

I don't think your political and economic stance is even a factor. I believe it's the manner in which you promote your stance that is the problem for many.

Actually, believe it or not but I am one of the few who backs up your application.
You are strongly opinionated and often lacked tact when you were engaged in a debate but you are not the only one. I can be like that too as well as several other Lang members. At least, you have been making efforts lately.
As far as I am concerned, you are now trying hard to be more "polite and moderate" in the FD section and made posts in other sections of the forums, which reflects your incentive to be engaged in other facets of this community.

This is truly a great community with great people, and I think that you can also, with enough will, contribute to it (as long as you follow our common-sens rules of respect) .

I do not think that it is our community's role to judge a person based on his political belief; we are NOT political. However, you will be judged on your attitude towards others and you general behavior in the community's and its activities. Remenber, every member is an ambassador of Lang which is why poeple's character and manners are critical.
